Let the Refiner Finish
The good work Heís doing
In you, as His silver.
Thereís no need to keep moaning.
He knows what Heís doing,
When He turns on the heat.
Itís to remove the chaff from the wheat,
Remove the scum from the gold.
So yield to the His loving Arms.
Stay on the wheel and the altar.
He wants to increase your yield.
Make you bring glory and praise.
Your pain today, is for your gain
He loves you too much to leave you
With the filth, scum and dross.
When His image is seen, youíll pass.
3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
1The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
3Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
New King James Version (NKJV)
Living Sacrifices to God
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
