After the creation of man in Eden garden, the first word he heard was from God, and it was a pronouncement of BLESSING. (So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth-Genesis1:27-28).
Looking at the first word of God to man, we will discover that it was blessing all-through. There was no iota of curse there. God never intended man to go through suffering, pains, oppression, agony, poverty, sickness,..that are prevalent in the world today.
But the day man chose to disobey God, he became exposed to curses and pains. (And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, AND HAST EATEN OF THE TREE, OF WHICH I COMMANDED THEE, SAYING, THOU SHALT NOT EAT OF IT: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.Genesis3:17-19).
When you look at the situations of people around the world today, you will discover that more people are going through turbulent situations occasioned by the curse caused by disobedience.
God in His infinite mercy is not pleased with the condition of man. He wants to restore to man all the good things he has lost. The bible is filled with wonderful promises of God to bless his people and give them good gifts in life. When you read the book of Deuteronomy 28:1-13, you will discover great plans of God to bless you, but when you compare it with the real experiences in your life, you may want to doubt how reliable those promises are. V8 of Dueteronomy 28 say The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
The promises of God are reliable because God who makes these promises can not lie. The reason why many are lacking good things God intends for them is DISOBEDIENCE.
All promises of God are real, but are attached to conditions. AND ALL THESE BLESSINGS SHALL COME ON THEE, AND OVERTAKE THEE, IF THOU SHALT HEARKEN UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD THY GOD.
If you desire to enjoy Abundance of Gods blessing, begin to obey God in all matters; and you will discover that nothing good will the Lord withhold from those who Obey Him.
