This is a time for celebrations
for one who deserves so much
Their time, and giving, sharing too
at whose lives that they have touched
Can one remember the hours spent
when catered to the task before
Just seeing how to make it work
for to them it was quiet, a big chore
But they hung on in there with zest and zeal
not yielding to thoughts of defeat
But with the pride of a Lion, they boldly stood
for they had a deadline to meet
I can imagine, it wasn't always easy
And no answers came over night
but with great determination you fought on still
And before long you saw the light
No battle is won without a fight of faith
No victory is promised right then
but the good thing about a person like this
They have what it takes to win
I pray that God with his wisdom and grace
will direct you through each day
So when those times when you feel all alone
he'll guide your steps in every way
