I'm happiest when I'm praying
I've come to recognize
For there I'm resting in my Lord
Who only is all wise
As I bring Him my petitions
From the meditations of my heart
I seem to have assurance
This too is my Father's heart
Not willing that any should perish
But that each one should repent
Revealing His long arm of love
From His ear that is earth bent
Waiting for that sinner
Brokenhearted and contrite
To call upon the name of our Lord
Is His and His angels delight
Prayer you be my companion
As I'm led to by His Spirit
Walk by faith and not by sight
Come brother, sister, hear it
Come in full submission
Man your battle station
Look forward to the blessings
From the God of our Salvation

I especially love your middle verse. That is where my heart is; showing the long arm of God. I was talking about this only yesterday with a Christian friend. Thank you.
