It always makes me laugh when I remember an experience God gave me some years ago.It happened to me while I was driving a car on the freeway.
There have been times in my life where problems and trouble have assailed and sometimes my attitude has been that it was not fair of God to allow these things to happen to me.
On one such occasion I was very upset and disturbed mentally and emotionally and struggling with anger.
As I said ,I was driving my car on the freeway when suddenly I was looking at a scene of a room with a black curtain, with an empty seat in front of it.
Then Jesus walked out from behind the curtain and sat in the seat. He looked at me ,then said,"tell me about it". So I poured out my complaint to Him,including the fact that I was having to many hard times, that it was not fair that I seemed to be having more trouble than others(I have since learned that all christians have hard times at one time or another)etc etc. When I had got everything off my chest and run out of things to say ,Jesus stood up,then said,"I will get back to you".
He then walked back behind the curtain and the scene disappeared.During all of this I was still driving my car.
The experience was comforting because I was able to let off steam.I also had to work that day and I would have been hard pressed to be able to concentrate on my work.
As far as I know,He has not got back to me yet, although what I have learned about handling myself in tough times may be the fulfilment of His words.
