WHO IS PERFECT; WHO IS HOLY?

God is not looking out for perfect, holy people. He knows there are none anywhere! But, He's in dire need of people who really want, crave and desire to be made perfect; because God knows that He alone can perfect us in Christ Jesus, Hallelujah! Now, this is His ultimate question for us. "Are you willing to be made perfect?" Wholehearted repentance is the best prayer at this point, the peak of honesty! Can we deceive the omniscient God (the All Knowing, All Wise, and Always Present God) who sees and already knows every detail of our hearts, thoughts and intentions? I think not. Delay, arrogance or postponement is not wise either!
Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”
Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. The proud Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
“But the (humble, repentant) tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
But you are to be perfect (holy), even as your Father in heaven is perfect (holy).
Listen friend, your life is a gift; God gave it to you so you can learn wisdom - His wisdom. We all know that God's wisdom is the ultimate wisdom. Now, it's amazing to know that God's wisdom is not some great ideology, myth or human philosophy, but a person! Yes and His name is Jesus Christ.
But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Please read also, Proverbs 8:12-21; Psalm 90:12.
Jesus Christ, the ultimate wisdom and power of God is your access to God's eternal purpose for you, which are eternal life and blessings. God's deep, passionate love for you is proven by the revealed way and truth about eternal life and blessings in Christ Jesus. In John 14:6, Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man or person comes unto the Father except by me". Now, this is a very bold, strong and confident statement, because IT IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your household - Acts 16:31. Jesus Christ is NOT one of the ways, but the ONLY way, there is no other way!
Acts 4:11, 12.
For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
Your righteousness might be approved by people, but nobody's righteousness, holiness or perfection can ever qualify for eternal life except Jesus' righteousness - and it's a free gift!
We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.
This is a very crucial moment of decision making for you, eternal life and damnation are involved. Don't miss this free gift; it's yours for the asking. Ask for the gift of righteousness in Jesus' name.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ healed you of spiritual bankruptcy, saving your soul and giving you His righteousness that qualifies you for eternal life. This is an amazing fact!
2 Corinthians 5:21.
For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
Please note that the LORD Jesus Christ is right by and with you right now. Go on your knees or bow your head in prayer and confess your sins, ask for forgiveness and make him the LORD of your life. Ask also for the grace to obey Him absolutely - please do it honestly and earnestly now, don't delay!
Certainly, you will experience His peace as assurance of His love, salvation and deliverance on you. I will continue praying with you and please endeavor to reply. Take time to read these scriptures from the Bible and the Holy Spirit will certainly teach you further. Romans 5:1, 2; Romans 10:9-13; Isaiah 43:18, 19; Zephaniah3:19, 20
This gospel of Jesus Christ is eternal, but you don't have eternity to believe and receive it. God's love is urging you right now, don't harden your heart.
Have a marvelous day in God's awesome presence.
