Christian Love Connection
Don't look for a wife-1 Corinthians 7:27 NIV
How many of you remember the game show called The Love Connection? If my math is correct I believe that I was between the ages of 10 & 12 when I use to watch that show. Of course, I was never really interested in a love connection happening, but more so the date and what mishaps took place. That show kept me in stitches because something always went wrong before, during or after the date.
In this day in age we not only have t.v. shows promising love connects but we also have websites who's sole purpose is to connect you with a potential wife and or husband. One website in particular has a commercial that says sometimes we're waiting for God to move when God is saying it's your time to act. That statement kind of strikes me as odd, especially since it's coming from website that is attempting to play matchmaker.
If God does everything just right and on time (Ecclesiastes 3:11) then why would He need our help in obtaining a wife or husband? Or if God is in control over everything, when did He start requiring our assistance with matters of the heart? Also since God knows best, why is it all of sudden that He needs our aid with falling in love?
God needs not your hand, mine nor any dating website or t.v. show to produce a suitable helpmate for you!
