Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).
I today's world, where things, people, circumstances and situations are highly unpredictable and unreliable, DAY and NIGHT intercession is the cure for uncertainty and delay, producing SURE and QUICK answers - always! Two or more hours of regular intercession into the night after 12 midnight, disturbs and devastates hell; but saturates Heaven, with that sweet smelling aroma of profound, persistent and infallible faith. Hallelujah!
Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” See also Revelation 4:8-11.
Every promise of God remains dormant and unfulfilled until it's contended for and loosed down. God's infallible Word is not a souvenir we brandish before fans, friends and family, but the lethal sword of the Spirit (and the Devil knows that well!) to win spiritual battles and receive physical blessings, Hallelujah! To release God's miracles, we need to pray Day & Night; these are some scriptures that point to that fact.
Isaiah 62:6, 7.
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
Luke 6:12, 13.
One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night. At daybreak he called together all of his disciples and chose twelve of them to be apostles.
Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart by spreading the Good News about his Son.
Nehemiah 1:5, 6.
Then I said, “O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands, listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying night and day for your people Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned!
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
Joshua 1:8, 9.
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
God does not answer just because prayers are offered with pleadings, loud crying and tears alone. While being fervent and effectual in our praying are very vital, prompt powerful answers and blessings come because of our reverence, prompt and absolute obedience to God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit. These, being so vital that Christ has to suffer to learn how to reverence and obey God absolutely. If we learn fast, we might suffer less!
Hebrews 5:7, 8.
While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.
Great blessings are imminent, let's be totally focused in Jesus' name amen.
