I just read about Paul’s message in 2 Timothy 4 (NIV). His heart for Christ and for His work totally moved me to tears. He was and is a wonderful example for Christians to follow.
We all have our own daily challenges; we all have our own troubles. No matter what they are, and no matter how big or small they are, we have to ask the Lord to give us the strength and the wisdom to face them, to deal with them and eventually to finish them. For what? For the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Take heart. Finish the task our Lord has entrusted to us. Yes, finish the race.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV) tells us, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Amen.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

There is joy in finishing a race...no matter how tough the race may be or how long it takes. I enjoyed the sense of 'joy' overflowing alongside quiet determination in this concise and excellent article. Bravo!
