Life is not a bed of roses, has never been and will never be. And guess what, that wouldn't change with Christ in your life. It was not promised us that all our problems would cease when we accept Christ into our lives but by His grace, we would prevail over our problems. This is what we all have to keep in mind. The problems will come no matter how much we fast and pray but the good news is we shall overcome!
It is normal to feel scared sometimes; to feel overwhelmed with all that is going around you. Then you end up getting anxious and start worrying. But the truth is worrying doesn't offer solutions. We become absent-minded and very jittery about things and end up complicating matters. We all have our Goliaths to face and overcome but we cannot overcome them if we are not ready and willing to face them. One thing I remind myself every day is God would not allow any situation my way which is beyond me; so we all do have the potential to overcome any disturbing situation in our lives. Do you believe that?
Psalms 30:5b encourages us that though “weeping may tarry for the night, joy comes in the morning.” All we need to do is tarry…not easy but necessary. Don't give up on your condition, stand your ground because you will definitely prevail. God may allow you to be thrown into the lion's den but He would definitely make the lion bow down to you in the den. Just like Daniel's friends, you may be pushed into the fierce furnace but you would definitely not get burned. My point?
God allows us to pass through some tests to refine us, to make us stronger and wiser. Not all trials come about because of sin. Job for instance was accounted to be very righteous but is known to have gone through some of the worst life circumstances. It gets to a time where God needs to take us to another level but as we do here on earth, we have to pass through some tests and prevail. And don’t worry; you are not alone because God’s grace is sufficient enough to take us through this course of life. We should be unwavering in our faith in God to take us through the ups and downs of life.
So refuse to give up! Still anxious about a course you are having problems with? Let the peace of God calm you down and clear your mind of all anxiety and bless your memory. Need some sort of help from people? May God grant you favor in the sight of all men and may your prayers be answered before you make them. Having problems at work? Pray for those who oppose you and live peaceably with everyone. Keep smiling because your breakthrough is near. No problem is greater than our God who took the sins of the world to the cross and saved us all from the curse of sin. Always remember, God cares.
I am so glad to have read this. God's timing is perfect, and this message connected closely on so many levels in my walk of faith. Thank you for expressing your heart and faith in such an honest, encouraging, and real way!Excellent article!
Nothing ever comes easy! The things that we most desire we have to work hard for in this world. So to grow in the spirit we will endure much...did not also Christ endure much in His life here. So if that happened to God it will happen to us too. We are made stronger by every stripe that our bodies receive. And with His grace we do endure, with his strength we push on, overcoming what lies ahead. For He is ever with us, and there is nothing that we cannot overcome! The words of your message are blessed by the Lord, and it will reach those it was intended for!
