“Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name, you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you – and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you – when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior... you are precious and honored in My sight, and I love you... I will gather you from the east and from the west. I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back!' - bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth, everyone who is called by My Name, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed and made.” - Isaiah 43:1-7
O God my savior, You are my shelter and my redeemer. How can I be afraid when You are always with me? You have loved me, chosen me, called me by name to be Yours forever. Whatever I go through, I know that You are with me and Your grace sustains me. You take care of me because You love me. You say to me, “You are precious to Me beyond measure. I gave up My only Son to bring you back to Myself. Your past is washed away and now you are blameless and honored in My eyes. How I love you!” Lord, You draw to Yourself all those who are Yours – from every corner of the earth You have redeemed Your people. Nothing can keep us from You. We are called by Your Name, being found in You, and we have been made by You, through You, and to You. My God, You have made me in Your sovereignty, re-created me through the blood of Christ, and saved me to be Yours. Your love, grace, mercy, and glory will shine through me just as You always mean it to be. Amen.
