Do you know what you need? It might be difficult to answer especially when we need to decide for very important issues, we might not leave any stones unturned and even if be seeking a counsel or advise to do it better, we will go for it, however the Counselor should be good, perfect, dependable and with all good qualities.
There is no better Counselor than the Lord Jesus Himself Who when He left the world said this...
'And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.' John 14:16-17 (NKJV)
Yes!!! The Blessed Holy Spirit, He is the best Counselor we can ever have.
In every decision of our life if we would seek the counsel and advise of The Blessed Holy Spirit, we will never fail in anything we do.
Paul rightly made us known about the importance of The Blessed Holy Spirit when he said this...
'For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.' Romans 8:13 (NKJV)
Yes!!! Our dependence on flesh, even our own self may not be helpful to us, however with the Holy Spirit we will live life at our best eternally.
Thus, let the Holy Spirit, our blessed Comforter and Counselor decide what we need, what we should do, how we do it, where we should go and in everything let prepare to meet the best the Lord has in store for us.
