Description:
This book describes experiences children have playing outside, having fun, discovering nature and the changing of the seasons. It also provides a variety of "songs of praise".
Objectives:
This book is about delighting in God's creation and delighting in talking to God. It is about learning the art of thanking God for his creation and being grateful for everything God has given us. Ultimately, children are encouraged to delight in God himself.
Target Group:
Three to eight year old children and their parents.

FEBRUARY
It is windy today.
I want to go out and play.
The leafless trees bend in the storm.
The wind is powerful and strong.
We carefully walk on slippery ground.
And arrive in the playground safe and sound.
We swing high into the sky.
God, I just love to be lifted high!
There’s a blackbird in the tree.
I think he’s looking at me.

Spring is at our finger tips.

Dear God,
Songs of Praise resound throughout creation.
I join in nature’s song on earth and in the Angels’ hymn in heaven:
Thank you God for making everything.
You are the Creator King.
I lift my hands in adoration.
And praise you for your beautiful creation.
Praises be to you forever and ever.
You are enthroned in the heavens above.
And in the hearts of your children down here on earth.
Heaven and Earth are tied together by your almighty power.
Let me praise you every day and every hour.
