Fear is jumping round my head,
Where will I go when I am dead?
I know a God that love me too,
Even with the things I do.
My fear of this God must be gone,
For the wrath of God is wrong.
All of us must die in sin,
That sin that comes from deep within.
We are cut off from the truth,
Never knew it in my youth.
I could not see these things,
Punched until my head would ring.
By one man I was condemned,
By another I am on the mend.
His name is Jesus, He loves me,
That’s why He was hung on that tree.
He gave it up, we crossed the gap,
All our sins He gladly wrapped.
Now we live and we’ll be free,
There’s a God for you and me.
He’s not mad but loves us more,
For Jesus has shut that door.
Stripes and scars He paid the price,
Makes us sin free which is nice.
