My flesh tired and sore from labor’s day
Yet still I can feel the softness of your skin
My sight grows cloudy from sleep
Yet still your beautiful face fills my eyes
The last of tonight’s dinner upon my tongue
Yet still I can taste the deliciousness of your lips
The last minutes of the day ticking away
Yet still there’s time to say, “I Love You”
