As humans as we are, we are all vulnerable to forgetting our past experiences. This to an extent is helpful so we do not end up becoming bitter people always glooming about how painful our lives had been. But forgetting can also make us lose focus on where we are coming from thus straying away from the track we are supposed to stay on. Thus, this is my prayer: Lord, help me remember how many times You've saved me from the numerous snares of the enemy. Help me keep in mind how helpless I'd be without You in my life. Let me always remember the scars on Your hands and feet for my sins' sake. Let me not lose sight of the stripes on Your back to deliver me from all atrocities. Help me not to ever think I can survive all by myself. Please do not make me want so much so as to question Your love for me, neither give me too much foq me to forget You and boast in myself. Just give me enough for each day so I would always have to lean on You so I do not lose my way. Help me keep in mind that You loved me so much to die for me so I should be ready to die for You so they can be saved. Lord, help me remember all the times that You shamed me by coming to my aid when I almost gave up on You. Help me remember that You are watching my every move so I would be careful of whatever I do. Let me never forget the mercies, forgiveness and love that I saw in Your eyes on the cross. Let me always remember that You are my Savior, my Father, my Friend, my Comforter, my King and everything I could ever want in life. This is my prayer so I do not lose sight of my Lord and wander into the world which offers only temporary pleasures and permanent emptiness. I hope this would be your prayer too so we do not lose our way.
