In the blink of an eye, we said goodbye to Hong Kong as the plane took off at 12:30 am. I asked myself when we would come back to our hometown.
During our visit, we noted that most of the HongKongers were not spiritually well. They were like wanderers without a true purpose in lives. We tried not to be judgmental as we should not be, but what they dressed, what they talked and what they acted did not have any Christian values or did not reflect God’s glory. They need the Lord.
To me, Hong Kong is a field that needs to be spiritually cultivated with the Gospel of Jesus. Although mission works have been done there, there are not enough Christian workers or organizations to plant seeds.
I pray that God may send more of His workers to plant, to cultivate, to nourish, and to harvest such a field.
I also pray that there may be plenty of workers when harvest comes. Luke 10:2 (NIV): He (Jesus) told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Perhaps one day, I may go back there to preach the Good News to my people. Physically I am away, but my mind and thoughts and heart are with them.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
