Should you intend to worry of all that may surround you,
of he and she, of this and that, of payment for your bric-a-brac,
you'll find your feeling sorry, as problems soon confound you!
When all it takes is time alone, no t.v. on, no telephone.
A whispered prayer by candlelight, a voice inside says; all is right.
A breath of calm, breathe out, breathe in.
This way, your worries never win.
Should you intend to hurry to places all around you.
You beat the clock with flaying hands, an egg-timer of shifting sands.
'I'm late!' You scream, but who, then, hears?
And further does somebody care?
When all it takes, knowing you're home, no radio, no telephone.
A heartfelt prayer by candlelight, a voice inside says; all is right.
A healing balm, breathe out, breathe in.
With faith my friend, you'll always win.
