Faulty Pulpits make faulty worship

Just as Nadab and Abihu brought strange fire, faulty worship then caused death and now it is also causing death. They were to bring fire and pour incense on it that was a type of Christ – these men who had seen so much of God and all that was done by Him; they got drunk and brought fire of their own making.
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.
(Leviticus 10:1-2 KJV)

And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
(Numbers 3:4 KJV)

And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
(Numbers 26:61 KJV)

Christians must on no account whatever depart from their consecration or from that which would prevent them from feeling its power-a state of abstraction in which the flesh has no place. The presence of God must have its full power, and the flesh must be silent before Him. It is only thus that they would be able to discern between that which is unclean and that which is pure-that which is profane and that which is holy. There are lawful things, real joys, which, however, do not belong to priesthood-joys which flow from God's blessings, and which do not keep the flesh in check as does His presence; for there is always a certain restraint on the heart, on nature and its activity, produced by the presence of God. But priesthood is exercised before Him.
They died and in fact God killed them because of their self righteousness and their lack of true worship. Times have not changed in God’s Word. God never changes and His Word changes not.
Where are the preachers that will lie on their faces before God until hot tears of desire pour out and an answer comes and when they stand behind the pulpit and their voice is the voice of God. People hate me for asking questions and being such a bull dozer for God, either do it right or what you have done wrong will be pushed down. Jesus even spoke of branches being cut off and thrown in the fire because they were not producing. People are not producing because the pulpit has failed and money, prestige, honor and intellect has taken over.
Cain brought the fruit of the field (works), some people bake bread and while it is hot place it on the altar in their churches so they can smell it and have that good feeling and that will lead them to worship – God Help Us! Some folk show “funny videos” before church starts, some play rock music, sometimes the left over baptismal water is sprinkled on the people in the crowd. True worship is from and through the Holy Spirit and not some manmade faulty worship that is as silly as rain falling from the ground back to the sky!
The pulpit once taught true warfare, true worship and a true walk to the pew dwellers and now they teach political correctness, or removing the name Jesus as did Campus Crusade for Christ, just last week. I never have cared for the late Bill Bright or his wife and always saw them as fake and false despite what seemed to exist – and I suppose as I grew into what I am now, that 25 years ago they thought of the name change and this is just one example of many – they changed the name because crusade spoke of old wars against the Muslims in part and removed Christ so they would not offend folk.
WHAT! Do we so easily give up Jesus and have we become ashamed of Him and will He then be ashamed of us in front of His Father?
We must walk before the Lord in truth, we must make the phone calls that no one else does, we must visit the widows, and poor and needy. We must make an effort and not just cry “wolf” when some other party makes no true attempt at being the right kind of Christian, minister or parishioner.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
(James 1:19-27 KJV)

God has pleaded and reached as far down as He can and yet and still do men reject Him because they have been trained in faulty warfare –
Maybe folk hate me, are angered with me – but someone has to stand firm and say the truth and show the way – Jesus is calling, won’t you answer.

Thank you for the boldness in writing this article. Indeed the problem with the Christian Church today is that it is so afraid "to offend" that it would rather BE SILENT about how the world has spoken against our God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We do not speak the Truth because it might "offend."
