I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. (Habakkuk 2:1)
Do you wake up or go to sleep as a doubter or quarreler?
Do you long for and desire the providence of Jesus to bless you as you labor, live and toil in this present life?
Do you live as a soldier under a dictator’s thumb and you yourself are the dictator or better yet the enemy (Satan) is the dictator -
I was just listening to a song and as I sat and wept in the presence of the Holy Spirit as He spoke to me I thought of this -
WESLEY says, of the Scripture quoted above: Upon my watch - I will stand as a watchman on my watch - tower. He - The Lord. Reproved - Called to give an account of the mysteriousness of providence; either to satisfy doubters, or to silence quarrellers.
When you rise in the morning, when you lay to sleep at night and all that is in between those times in your day… what do you do?
Do you doubt? Do you fear? Do you complain about all that is wrong? Do you want your own way and when you do not get it you sulk as a spoiled child? Do you listen to Christian music or preaching that gives you the right answer and yet a few minutes later you are mad, angry, frustrated or discouraged again - - If so I say to you, GET SAVED FOR REAL ! Quit toying around with God in your lame prayers and either live and believe or get out of the race!
We are not to fear, doubt worry for food, raiment or otherwise – (Philippians 4:8-9; Matthew 6:24-34)
I say to you this day –
Put out water pots rather than a thimble! When you pray, expect it! Live it and believe it!
Look for the providence of God through Jesus Christ!
Stop being YOURSELF and become what JESUS DIED for, concerning your life. Quit planning it; quit destroying it by giving the devil place in your mind, heart and mouth!
Put out your water pot and expect it to be filled with the rain from Heaven, from Jesus - - and do not dare complain about getting wet!
