From the Pen of A Writer by Gillian M. Henriques
Copyright. July 13, 2011.
Its mind boggling to think there is no one greater than this
It’s hard to wrap my mind around the thought the supernatural doesn’t exist
...I’d feel a little foolish thinking there is not a God
And rather paltry accepting ideas that this is just a fad
Have you noticed the perfect order with which the universe rotate
How the earth spins on its axis without flying all over space
I wonder about the imaginary line that protects us from the sun’s rays
And often times I ask myself who separates night from day
The streams run in the rivers and the rivers in the sea
The seasons seem to know their time, and I wonder how can that be?
The oceans knows its boundaries without even a prod
Am I still to believe like some that there is no God
Man walks on earth’s round surface without even a care
Have you ever stop and wonder what if gravity was not there
Its mind boggling how the clouds store the water for the rain
And how the earth opens its mouth to take the water in again
I can never really fathom how the birds know how to fly
Or how the stars hang on nothing without falling from the sky
Its mind boggling when I think about even inconspicuous me
Had a come as a result of an explosion what a catastrophe that would be
For my liver just may never be able to identify its place
And contend with my kidney for the privilege of its space
Every organ in my body seem so intricately made
And the wonder of a creator my thoughts cannot evade
Forgive me evolutionists for taking such offense
But its mind boggling to believe in mutation’s magnificence
My wondering eyes forbids me to comprehend the “big bang”
For if all this just exploded then something have gone wrong
For with explosion comes destruction but all around I see
Endless beauty in the valleys and the mountains kiss the sea
Its mind boggling how they think that humans come from apes
Leaving monkeys now frustrated as they wait to take their shape
Its mind boggling how they think that a great big ball of matter
Could collide with each other to create anything but a splatter
I’d rather be content with the belief I now hold dear
That the almighty God and father is the creator of the spheres
