Once there came strong inspirations hastily knocking an urgent call
Quickly I embraced the unexpected guest. A welcome into my boring hour
O’ shadow of hope, truth of life foreordained from long ago;
I chose but to believe man’s fallible word, yet no ill judgment should deceive thy immortal truth.
How gently you smile upon youth’s folly
O’ unexpected guest from long ago, allow me to welcome thee here once more.
And dare I not be twice the fool for ye be something, nothing flesh
O’ Spirit fill my empty soul!
Oh vision of hope, I beg thee stay. Leave me not with crowded thought.
Remove the years of tangled lies; free me from such aging fears!
Pour God’s wisdom upon me now, not mere fragments of sincere reality.
O’ Dove of life, hawk of death, I am nothing yet part of all
O’ mortal spirit life of man, ye are but a passing season!
The vanity of man lacking God I fear ‘tis an uncharted world wanting love and hope, a speck of salt in a glistening tear, no fire inspirits thy icy soul.
Oh small piece of faith that drifteth near, I call thee stay for my eager mind.
As my heart burns long deep within, I shall remain strong to do God’s righteous will mindful, life without prayer finds death fast to kill
Come to me now O’ spark that burns!
What worth of inspiration have you for me?
If thee be of God’s everlasting truth,
Allow me power to suffer His strength
Carry my soul upon His timeless quest that I may know what God’s wisdom be!
O' Please!
May I have but another taste?
One much stronger than mans hollow words of faith!
Be it not to live such empty dreams, yet forever breathe Gods Divine Beliefs
O’ Holy Inspiration these!
