Lord, it can be so hard to hold on to joy sometimes. Too often it feels like everything is trying to steal it from me. But I know that I have all the strength I need in You and that Your joy lives in my heart because You live there and Your presence is my joy. So I will turn a deaf ear to all the junk the enemy whispers to me and I will turn my eyes from the circumstances that may come against me. I will fix my eyes on You, Jesus, and I will listen to Your voice in my heart. I will remind myself of the truth of Your Word and Your faithfulness in my life. I love You, O Lord my strength, my joy – always.
