It is interesting that King Solomon was 7 years in building the Lord's house. His own house took 13 years to build. It appears as an omen of duality in heart character.
As seen, that latter, he went after other gods, spurred onward by his seven hundred wives. King Solomon built high places and went after those gods and the real GOD. Proving his heart not perfect in GOD'S eyes.
