How can this be? A love so sweet!
When, Face to face,
We still have yet to meet
You know my every way
Before my heart can pray
You travel in Spirit with me as I go
Down paths far from the straight and narrow
You bring me strength when I am weak
Guiding me to refreshing waters
Of a gently flowing creek
I know I don't deserve this bond
Yet, there You always are
To let me lean upon
With Your Presence ever near
In this life, there is no fear
Yours is a gentle Voice of reason
I've learned to faithfully trust
No matter what the season
You are this and more to me
Your Love has set me free
Now is not the time
To know the reasons why
Though I fail
To fully comprehend
I choose instead to just accept
By simply being You
You choose to call me Friend!
This came as I thought of all the many dear people I have met through FW over the years and now call my friends! Most of you I have not yet met face to face, but without a doubt know you call me friend because we know each other heart to heart. Isn't that how it is with Christ? Be blessed my friends :)

And what a great friendships we have developed here meeting heart to heart vice face to face. This yet another great poem penned by you for the Lord. You are an inspiration to many of us here. Thank you and keep serving. In Christ, Christian
Very lovely read. Your writings always touch my heart deeply. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read mine as it has been a long time. I have been through a lot while away from FW but God is good and always faithful to His promise. He never ceases to put a smile on my face. Love you. Hugs
Thanks Jody...I am happy to be called your friend. And you are a friend to me as well; although I haven't had much time to be on the computer lately, I still think about the many friends I have...God bless you.
Heart 2 heart friendships are indeed ones that help us to understand, in part, the beauty of our Lord's heart. I thought of St. John 15 when I read your title. Lots of love. Blessed to be part of your friendship circle. J
