Have you ever felt God or Jesus abandoned you during time of trials of faith? 2 Peter Ch: 1 is the daily practice attributes of faith. We should apply and seek the benefits of moral excellence, which leads to knowing God better. Knowing God leads to self-control. Self-control leads to patient endurance and patient endurance leads to godliness. Godliness leads to love for other Christians, and all believing in God’s way of live, finally you will grow to have genuine love for everyone. I don’t believe humanity will ever look to the practice attributes of faith in my lifetime. Sure, some individuals will try but people we should strive harder in the mitts of the current circumstances and practice the attributes of faith.
Many have read the book Job, and how he endured the test of faith. This brings to mind the Middle East’s rage for freedom, and a distress spirit in how humans treat each other. The stand for freedom must have purpose as Job withstood his plight, not capitulating, his integrity in God. What drives some people not to fear death while an oppressive regime kills to legitimize it existence. Some sit by the TV watching the carnage of humanity and say. “Let’s pray for the oppressed and we’ll bring financial sanctions upon the oppressor. All the while, carnage in Syria continues, life around the planet is business as unusual.
God have mercy on the oppressed. Let mercy abound for the merciful while judgments fall to those without mercy. Syria understands that killing children and oppressing those who would otherwise not need to rage for freedom is not the way of a Godly life. God loves us all but, only the seed of righteous shall inherit the Kingdom of eternal life.
