Everything about our God is so special and precious, as He Himself is, so are His people.
God always desires His people to be like Him and thus when He created us, He made us in His own image, the perfect image, the holy image and the blessed image.
As the presence of God is a blessing and His words give life, so should ours be too, we should be the perfect ambassador of Christ in this earth.
From His holy people who serve Him day and night God expects this...
"For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge,
And people should seek the law from his mouth;
For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. "
Malachi 2:7 (NKJV)
Now when it is said about the priests, let not our thoughts quickly point out to the Pastors and the leaders of our church, for the Bible mentions this for all of us....
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;" 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
God has called all of us to be a royal priesthood and a special people as mentioned in the verse above to shine for His glory. Are we so?
Do you think your life is a blessing to others? Do you think you are reaching out to those in need?
There is much to do, many to reach, many to be comforted, many to be instructed in the right way, and many to be blessed.
To whom would the world look unto except to God or to the people known by His name to be an example of a happy and joyous life? to be an example of holiness, to be an example of peace even in the midst of a storm.
Dear One!!! If we are children of God we have a special calling, a special task to perfectly represent our King, the Lord Jesus everywhere and at all times, for we should never forget 'Who we are'.
To Him we belong
To Him we belong even as we live along,
Let His praises be always our song,
If we have lived as He did live and have perfectly tread His way,
A worthy life bringing glory to Him we would have lived every day.
