Commanded Praise

Acts 16:25 PAUL AND SILAS

The father commands us to praise him. How we are feeling on any given day is not a pre-requisite to praising him daily or hourly. Praise is due our heavenly father no matter what is going on. You canít say that Paul and Silas were not in pain from the bruises inflicted on them by the Romans. Yet they chose to sing hymns and give God praise.

What was it that they knew about the risen savior that caused them to praise the living God like that? Despite the repercussions of doing the work of the ministry they were called to. There prison service caused their chains to fall off and a jailer to run in and find out he could serve God too.

Praise changes the atmosphere of where you are. It confuses the enemy. The enemy wants to see and hear that you have thrown in the towel because you have battle scars.

Those scars heal beloved as God heals us of everything we have endured for the cross. We are left with the experience! And the testimony Praise him any how.
Peace.
