Very recently I have been reading and translating blessed quotes on prayer from people who have been blessed by the wonderful habit of prayer and I have been blessed doing that.
Prayer is the most powerful weapon we can have against the devil and the most effective too.
Prayer which may seem to be a difficult task is really difficult at times, for when we are deeply discouraged or hurt, we find it difficult to pray, however the blessed thing about our God is that He would never ask us to do anything unless He has equipped us for it, for He knows us the best and thus deals with us.
For when we find it difficult to pray, let this blessed news encourage us...
"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26(NKJV).
God's blessed gift to us in the form of 'The Holy Spirit' helps us to pray.
Prayer never fails and the one who always prays also never fails.
Daniel was not just a great administrator & a prophet, he was also a great man of prayer, for this is said about him...
"Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. " Daniel 6:1 (NKJV)
Daniel had the blessed principle of prayer and he did not want to compromise it for anything in life, even if it be at the cost of his own life, however God honored him and blessed him.
Dear One!!! The best thing that we can do for any one is to pray for them, for prayer will not only accomplish what we ask from the Lord in His will, it will also change us to know the Lord more.
So pray at all times, and whenever you find it difficult to pray, seek the help of the 'Holy Spirit', Who will help you to pray and help you reach the blessedness which the Lord has in store for us.
