I heard about some people who never work yet they keep receiving money regularly, get their bills paid off and have enough left to meet out their other expenses, probably they might have done something great at some point of time and thus are enjoying the long term blessings for the same, probably a writer getting royalty for some good book published, or an inventor cashing in on his royalty for the Invention once done.
Even though all of us might not fit into the above category, yet all of us can fit in this and which is far more better and the results for the same lasts until eternity, which is mentioned in the verse below and thus enjoy the
blessedness of the Lord eternally.
"but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14 (NKJV)
Our life in Christ, our faith and trust upon Him would help us reap results until eternity.
The great work done for us to enjoy the blessings eternally is what Christ has done on the cross, when He paid for all our sins and set us free from the eternal consequences of sin so that we may instead enjoy eternal blessedness.
Many still seek the worldly pleasures which even though promises to satisfy us temporarily, in reality pushes us into deeper darkness.
Jesus said..." Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. " John 14:27 (NIV)
Yes!!! No one and nothing can give us the peace which Christ can give us. His peace is true, His peace is eternal.
