The motive in giving must be right or the promises of God will be voided.
Deut 8:18 Moses said for the people to remember its God who gives us power to get wealth. This means God wants us to be wealthy but its to be a blessing to others. God will put us in a place where He can bless the work of our hands. He wants us to work and not just sit and wait for Him to do a miracle. God wants us to operate in the Blessing!
When we do this, we won’t need a miracle. Miracles come when we are in a crisis. Some people live from crisis to crisis. God wants us to walk in the Blessing so we don’t need a miracle every other month. God wants his people to operate and live in the Blessing. He wants to give us a Seed that we sow and then we live off the harvest. And we are able to help others with our harvest.
Isaiah 1:19 God wants us to be blessed.
I Cor 13:3 Our motive for giving must be love and not fear.
Gal 5:6 Faith works by love.
II Cor 9:7, Luke 6:38 Give without grudge, God wants a cheerful giver, and God will bless our giving.
John 1:17 For the Law was given by Moses but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.
Living under Moses, you lived under the Law. If you sinned, you died.
Living under Jesus, we live under Grace and Truth. If we sin, we are forgiven under God’s grace thru the blood of Jesus.
Hebrews 8:6 The tithe is better now because the curse is removed. If we don’t tithe, we won’t get cursed. If we don’t tithe, what will happen? Nothing! We must think: do we want nothing to be happening to our finances? There is no curse but there also is no blessing if we don’t tithe. Its like we are all on our own financially.
Psalm 34:10 They that seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
The young lions do hunger, lack and miss the target. But the lions that seek the Lord don’t miss the target! The people who don’t have God’s help will come short financially sometimes. Things go wrong, stocks fall, taxes go up,
refrigerator breaks down etc. The people that seek God, have God taking care of them. Jesus said for us to Seek and we shall Find. We need to seek God’s way, God’s opinion and God’s wisdom. As we seek, we shall not lack or be in want of any good thing. Seek God! God said this so He has to stand by his word. We can hook up with God and He will make our finances prosper.
II Chron 26:5 God can Make us prosper! We don’t have to rack our brains, stay up all night figuring stuff out. We just have to seek God and God will Make us prosper!
Proverbs 10:22 The Blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and addeth no sorrow to it. It is effortless when God puts his blessing on our finances.
The Blessing is an available tool for us to use. Seek God!
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
AMEN
