the promise of God for us

The blessed time in life is when God is in control of everything in our life, God created us to dwell with us and in us, however with the given ability of making a choice when men chose to do evil, the presence of God left them and then they were as a toy in the devil's hand to play around for his amusements, in situations like these we often ask, "God, where are you?" "Why do you not save us? " to which probably God may reply with a question He had asked Adam when at the usual time of fellowship, God came to Adam and asked him, "Adam, where are you?". In doing so God was not asking where Adam was because He didn't know it, rather God was telling Adam about his sinful state, saying "Remember where I placed you(in perfect holiness) and now where you are (fallen in sin).

God clearly states in His Word why He cannot save us?

Behold, the LORDís hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.

Isaiah 59:1-2(NKJV)

David clearly stated the greatest loss which sin can bring in our life...

"If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear."
Psalms 66: 18 (NKJV)

Yes!!! If iniquity is still abiding in our heart, the Lord will not hear our prayer and with the Lord not helping us, we are again tossed to and fro by the devil, for His intention is only to destroy and kill us.

However our God is a compassionate God and is ready to forgive, if we repent, which means having understood the wastefulness of sin and the need for God in our life, let's commit ourselves to Him to glorify and magnify His name always.

This is the promise of God for us and if we allow Him to do this for us..

"And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem." Zechariah 2:12 (NKJV)

Dear One!!! The Lord desires the best for us always and we will always be at our best only in His presence and in His holiness.

God Bless,
Abraham
