We see so many great nations existing with their Christian beliefs and virtues, so many good people who have been faithful to God since generations, yet behind all the goodness and the blessedness that we see today are the sacrifices of countless missionaries and saints who have served the Lord in the most hostile conditions to preach the Good News of the Gospel and to extend the kingdom of God.
Paul presents this in very simple words when he wrote to the Corinthian church with the inspiration of The Holy Spirit.
"So then death is working in us, but life in you. " 2 Corinthians 4:12 (NKJV)
Yes!!! The goodness that we enjoy today has been achieved with a heavy price and still there are countless servants of God who with a deep passion for the souls are ministering in the most hostile conditions to save the lost.
Are we a part of this great mission? do we have a burden for the dying souls?
We would never have concern for anyone if it is not out of love, for even we would not be able to sincerely and efficiently pray for anyone unless we would have love for that person.
Jesus when He saw the crowd, He has compassion on them. Let's pray that God may give us a heart to love others and also like Jesus to move with compassion when seeing the lost.
Let's endeavour all the more that all may know the Lord, all may believe in Him and all may lead a blessed life.
When we look around the world and even if it be the very developed nations where there is good education, good per capita income, all good facilities, yet there exists amongst them hatred, sin and deceit, for to get rid of all these evils they need God.
We could live without any other thing in the world, however not without God, and even if we think we are living successfully without God, we are living in a false pretense and in an illusion.
The greatest need in the world today is not for food, not for education, but for a relationship with God.
People would never change and be good unless they believe in the Word of God and God would change them.
Let's work all the more, pray all the more that God may save all those who are lost and we may see the blessedness of God in every one's life.
God Bless,
Abraham
