“There’s no better place to be,” I explained to my husband as we drove along the Interstate Highway. John, the disciple of Jesus had the right idea. He picked the best place to be: leaning against the chest of Jesus as they reclined at the table.
During an intimate time of worship, I envisioned myself snuggled against the chest of Jesus. I was close enough to feel His breath upon my face and smell His sweet aroma. I treasured every word He spoke to me. I was safe, warm and secure.
I read in many places where it states that we are to be at His feet and I understand that. There are many positions we are to be in relation to Him at different times of our life, but the most favored spots, for me, is cradled in the crook of His arm.
I desire more intimacy with my Lord through worship time. I know that someday soon, in heaven, we will have an eternity to worship and adore our King.
In the difficult times, as well as the joyous times, I know that my special place is lying close to His heart to feel His warmth of love.

Beatiful! Reminds me of a time when I was crying to Him, knelt at the alter all alone in the sanctuary. It was as though the alter was His lap and He gently laid my head on His lap and comforted me. Ah... the Comforter. Isn't He just beautiful!?! No place like home... in the arms of the Savior.
