If I Could Do It Over Again!
If I could do it over again…
I would have loved those closest
to me without limits,
forgen others sooner, and fearing less.
If I could do it over again…
I would have lived each day to the fullest,
embraced every moment, knowing no regrets.
If I could do it over again…
I would have held those I loved
a little bit longer,
taken more chances, never fearing failure.
In the end, there are so many things
I can think of that I wish
I could do over again…
But life doesn’t grant us chances,
to do it over again…
It instead grants us chances,
to choose a different path…
So at the end of our lives
we will no longer be
deep down secretly wishing
…we could do it all over again!
