Where Do You Belong?

A group of people are grossly involved in the information and communication technology (ICT) revolution. A group started it all. These are the forces that were behind what we have today as ICT revolution. Without them and their ideas, we can not be where we are today. Everything has changed and is changing.
Another group has long contributed to the improvement of the ICT. This group brought in various ideas and contributions that make what ICT has become today.
Some people have benefited a lot from the ICT revolution. They have improved and contributed their quota to the development of their generation and the coming one.
Another group has recently aware of the happenings in the ICT world. These groups of people are just preparing to make their own contributions to ICT activities. This is where I belong. At least I must know my measure.
Throughout the world, a lot of people are still ignorant of the ICT revolution. A part has heard about it but does not understand it. A part understands it but is not aware of the way by which they can come in. Many still doubt the existence of it, yet, it is a reality!.
The ICT revolution and the kingdom of God share this grouping in common. You must, no doubt, know where you belong.
There is a group of people who have not heard the good news about the King of God. They have not been told at all. They do not know anything about it. This is delaying the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:14 reads
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations, and the end will come” (RSV)
That is why every disciple has been commissioned to “go and peach the gospel to all nations”. This has been abandoned by many Christians today. They have given themselves other assignments including” “controversy”.
Another group is that which has heard about the good news of the kingdom of God. They are hearers only. They have been told or informed. They are not interested in it. The kingdom has no value to them. Every thing starts and ends in this life for them. They have heard about the owner and the kingdom but they do not believe. Numbers 14:22. Says
“ None of the men who have seen my glory and my signs which I wrought in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to proof these ten times and have not hearkened to my voice, shall see the land which I swore to give to their fathers, none of those who despise me shall see it” (RSV).
This group hears but will not see the kingdom of God.
Another group of people is that which will hear and see the kingdom of God. This will see everything about the kingdom afar. They will see its power and beauty. That is all. They are like Moses, who was shown the land of Canaan but did not enter it (Deut 34:4, 32:52).
About the kingdom of God, Judas Iscariot was among those twelve disciples that returned with joy from their evangelistic assignment to the Lord saying, "even the demons are subject to us in your name!” Luke 10:17 (RSV)
However, his name was not “written in heaven”.
The best group that I pray you and I finally belong is that who are inheritors of the kingdom of God. May the Lord give us His spirit and power to be faithful until the end. He said about Caleb and the promised land of Canaan, in Numbers 14:24,
“But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the Land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it”.
May you and I, together with our descendants, inherit the kingdom of God.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Olawale, This is a nice attempt to put your thoughts into words. But I feel it is too wordy and has a lot of repetition. I mean using diiferent words and sentences to convey the same meaning. Again, leaving a space before starting a new paragraph will make for easier reading. Finally, I doubt if this article fits in the category you've placed it though I may be wrong. Keep writing. We all are improving.
