When Jesus Christ was lifted up
He caused all the world to see
Here was a love beyond comprehension
Given so men might be free
Sin what havoc it brought us
The plan that satan did hatch
Death found its final conqueror
And dually had met its match
Christ holds the key of Heaven
In fact He is the door
By which if any man enter in
He shall live forever more
Endless, boundless, mercy
Enjoying abundant grace
How wonderful fellowship here
Looking forward to see His face
His Word what glad satisfaction
The preaching of the cross to me
All my sin and its consequences
Were dealt with at Calvary
Behold the open sepulcher
No body left in that tomb
We serve a risen Saviour
At the cross for you there is room
Not willing that any should perish
But that all should come to Christ
God Himself became our offering
And paid the ransom price
For God so loved the world
He became the begotten Son
Securing the supreme sacrifice
By dying for everyone
Unparalleled love,unfathomable
God's love for me and for you
So great salvation's Benefactor
He brought the victory through
Now we stand fast in His triumph
Behold the risen Lamb
God's love, His wonderful love
Is Jesus the great I AM.
