FEAR VS LOVE

We all know the story of Job and none of us really enjoy talking about his life because it actually seems pretty depressing however if you read it carefully and all of the way to the end you will find the treasure of redemption and the true knowledge of Christ. It is a very uplifting story in that light.
God may have allowed the trouble for Job through the door of fear it was however sent for his deliverance.
I believe that it was meant deliver him from all of His fears by ultimately revealing Christ to him, making him perfect in Love.
God certainly did allow Satan access into Job's life but what the Lord was after was something much deeper then the fear; the fear being only a symptom, and not seen with a judgmental eye but with mercy and an opportunity for Godís truth and love to become real in Job's life.
God never glorifies a problem but uses it to bring a more real revelation of Himself for our transformation.
We should take comfort in the fact that Satan cannot touch our lives unless God first gives to him the permission, as we see in Luke 22:31-Jesus says to Peter-Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail: and when you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren.
Satanís purpose in it may be for our destruction but Gods plan is for deliverance.
We see by the words of Jesus that when Peter came through this trial not only would he have something to offer others, but also that Jesus had already interceded for him.
He goes before us in all of our trials.
What then was God after?
Here we see Jesus is praying to the Father for his disciples - 'This,' He said, 'is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.'
The word to 'know' means more then just head knowledge; it refers to a personal and intimate experiential knowledge.
Many Christians today have accepted Jesus as their Savior with fear as their foundation based on the information that if they don't receive Him then they will someday go to hell so they spend the remainder of their lives trying to serve God in their own strength through their own knowledge of Good and evil-
I believe that Salvation is more fully experienced through first a revelation of who He is and that is where faith is born, and faith works by Love, never fears.
In the beginning Adam and Eve were warned not to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because in it there is no power, no love, no peace and no rest and our only motivation is the fear of not measuring up or of failing God, so fear actually becomes our foundation.
As we partake of this tree we become independent of God in our reasoning, and understanding.
However when we partake of the tree of life it is revealed to us through Him the greatness of His love and power and that He alone is our answer to any problem so as a result we trust in Him and not our own ability to fix things therefore we rest IN HIM.
Lets go back to Job and find out what it was that God was after during this trial;
In the beginning of the book of Job we see that based up on the Law (or works) Job was acceptable in Gods sight as being righteous because of his works, however God wanted something beyond the works themselves. God wanted a more personal, intimate relationship with Job.
Job says to God, ĎI have heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eyes see you.í
You can feed anyone information on who Jesus is but it is a much different experience when Jesus is revealed to them. Therefore when we minister to others it must be from our spirit where He resides to their spirit where He longs to be. We must never coerce them through the soul realm by trying to guilt or fear them into a prayer for salvation.
This means we minister to others out of our own experience using His word with our revelation, which will in turn bring life to them. Information begats information, Revelation of The Spirit of Truth begats revelation which leads to truth which leads to transformation (our rebirth)
In the beginning Job had served God through the information that he had obtained about God, but now in chapter 42- He saw God, having personal revelation of Him.
Rather then serving God out of fear job would now serve God out of love and relationship and live a much fuller meaningful life because he could now walk with God in his own personal revelation and experience of God.
At the place of revelation is our transformation-
I believe that we the church are in the Day of Visitation such as was for job in his day, and the things, which can be shaken, will be shaken.
Please, find out what the Lord is after, Listen to Him, cry out to Him and give Him all that He desires-He wants more for us, He wants us to experience Him in every area of our lives so that we can successfully bring Him to others as they are going through the dark night of their souls-
