Don’t follow fools preaching rapture
They only teach a lie in hopes to capture
Souls untaught of God’s hidden Truth
Thus, behold the tailored cloven hoof
Yeah follow “rapture fools” preaching this
And learn it well the “Judas Kiss”
Betrayed by love of the shallow man
Preaching that “rapture” is not a sin
Though hold it not upon their head
For “all shall see Christ” when we’re dead
Yet speak to those whose ear shall listen
Discern the mind of God’s true Christian
And be not a judge of any one soul
Yet know that wolves do wear priest robes
Yes many are they in these troubled end times
For Satan, they seek the unlearned mind
“Two in the field, one is taken,
five of ten virgins cry.
The false king comes first boldly claiming
he shall ‘make their souls to fly!’”
Yeah raptured and captured by the antichrist
Thy soul forsaken is the final price
As Satan cries “peace” with teeth of a lion
Claiming to be God atop of Mt. Zion
Yeah rapture, smapture it’s not God’s word
Yet some claim God spoke and they have heard
But read for yourselves and follow no man
For only God’s Word bequeath His Promise Land
Authors Note: this parody of a "rap" song, to me, reflects the preaching of “rapture”.
The wanton ethics of “Rap-ture” distinctly lack the moralistic values of Christ.
