When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed-Matt.8:1-3.
This is a story of a leper man. When I look back at his background all I come up with is that he the man had finally come to the end of his life, giving up was what he wanted to do, look how he spoke to Jesus, 'Lord if thou will, you can make me clean.' Isn't this a man, so broken, humbled before the Lord! He worships the Lord, despite how he looks, people rejected him for he was an outcast. In those days if you suffered from leprosy you were an outcast, no one was to be closer to you, you lived an isolated life, but here is a man, so full of faith, he never wanted to go by man's opinions, that he was never to appear before people, but he broke loose from this...
Oh, master, make me clean if you will, yes, Lord, make me whole if you will, Father, make me pure if you will, Lord Jesus, heal me if thou will, cleanse me if you will Jesus!
Have you gone through many difficulties? The Lord is willing to bring you out successfully! Just trust in Him.
The Lord is never reluctant about our impossibilities! All things are possible with our God!He is manifested in our weaknesses!His power is felt when we are weak. God is lifted up through what we go through for the leper to be healed, he needed to humble, and recognize that it was God's will for him to receive this miracle, and thus God glorified Himself through this man.
Did you realize that God is willing to take you out of your circumstances? No matter what it is, He is able. Just be willing to break out of the world's restriction, just like the leper did, he didn't mind who was looking at him, but he went to Jesus and he received his healing.
Yes, the Lord is willing...He is willing to restore your health back, He is willing to transform your life and your family, He is willing to bring unity into your family, your husband and wife, God is in the process of restoring you completely! Praise His Holy Name!
Wouldn't it be wonderful to hear this sweet words from Jesus, Yes I am willing, be thou clean?
