All He has, He lays before me,
An equal heir to all that's His.
I am an heir to certain glory.
I am an heir to Heaven's bliss.
I shall reign with Christ forever.
I shall see Him face to face.
And partake in wondrous treasures
Given to me by His grace.
Shall I therefore, claim a passion
For this Christ, which I adore,
Yet, not partake with Him in Calvary
Or in the suffering that He bore?
Dare I flee the task before me?
Dare I carry not my cross?
Or quench this all consuming fire,
Afraid to suffer any loss?
If, in grace, he finds me worthy
Of all the joy I stand to gain
Then let me also be found worthy
To share His suffering and His pain.
