Imagine receiving many good and beautiful gifts and along with it also receiving an equally beautiful bag to carry them all through. The worth of the bag is not less then any other gift, however precious as it may be it also does the blessed work of keeping all those wonderful gifts together, so is love in us which binds all the blessed virtues of God in us together.
"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. "
Colossians 3:14 (NIV)
It is God's love that has saved us, forgiven us and given us a new life and thus He desires that we too should have the same love towards others.
If we truly love God and others we shall always endeavour and strive to do the best for them.
Let's pray to the Lord to fill us with His love and thus to share in His wonderful joy and blessings.
