I AM THAT I AM
I am him, who created heaven and earth,
I am him, who’s the giver of life and birth.
I am him, who is a Father unto you,
I am him, whose love for you is so true.
I am him, who knows your ways,
I am him, who lengthens your days.
I am him, whose Spirit is pure,
I am him, whose trust is assure.
I am him, whose love corrects,
I am him, who guides and directs.
I am him, who knows your name,
I am him, who sees your pain.
I am him, who gives you faith for your fears,
I am him, who gives you joy for your tears.
I am him, who comforts your heart,
I am him, who sheds light when it’s dark.
I am him, who makes your path,
I am him, who smiles when you laugh.
I am him, who makes sunshine after rain,
I am him, who gives you hope for your pain.
I am him, whose mercy is strong,
I am him, who blots out your wrong.
I am him, who protects you in the night,
I am him, who guards you in the light.
I am him, who gave you the flowers,
I am him, who sets his bow in the showers.
I am him, who felt the loss,
I am him, who cried as they nailed him to the cross.
I am him, who has given so much,
I am him, who longs for your touch.
I am him, who gave forth his Lamb,
I am him, who is the great I AM!
