Stephen A. Peterson
This a story about four teens: Michelle 17; Laura, 16; Ned, 18 and Scott, 17.
There was an important task that had to be done that Michelle was asked to do and return it completed to her boss.
Because Michelle did not want to do it she was certain Scott would do it for her. Laura could have done it, but Ned did it anyway.
Scott became angry when he learned that it was Michelle’s task to complete and he wasn’t going to be paid for his efforts.
It ended up that Michelle blamed Scott when Ned asked Laura to do the job.
Moral: When given an important task, you should take the responsibilty to see that the task
is completed to its end. If you rely on someone else to complete the task, check to
determine if it was completed according to the agreed upon standards.
