Only your Spirit
Have shown me the light
Truth is absolute
And everything that's right
The truth in the Word
Has opened my eyes
The Word shows your love
And shown me no lies.
I want only your Spirit
To live in my heart
Without you
This world
Would tear me apart.
Today I have dedicated
My life to you
I live in your service
In all that I do.
I thank you Lord
For granting me this day
Only your Spirit
Could make me feel this way
I now feel the joy
I no longer have fears
The worries are gone
That plagued me for years.
Only your Spirit
Could make me feel this way
I'll always remember
How I felt this day.
Today is the beginning
Of my glorious new life
I lift up my arms
To my new life in Christ.
