What does the bread of life mean to you? Does it mean food shall always be here for you to eat or, you will never go hungry? In the context of a spiritual meaning, Jesus Christ first introduced the bread of life. In John 6:35 Jesus said unto them, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” The belief of one’s spirituality in Jesus should never fail. If you choose to believe this, your spirituality is renewed. Just as the physically body requires food, so does the spirit.
Easter is the day to celebrate life in Jesus as He blesses other lives. As the apostles were eyewitnesses of Jesus resurrection, you should be the eyewitness to others in Christ. Don’t let this day end without remembering what Christ has done in your life. Give thanks for what you have now, for tomorrow is not giving to you.
As you eat today, filling your physical needs knowing it is only a symbol of how you relate to Jesus spiritually. Give thanks to Him for providing you both the physical food for the body and the spiritual food for your soul.
