There is an agony on this day
When the Father turned His Face away
And Jesus had to hang on the Cross
Alone
The personal pain in the Garden
The night before was severe
His best friends could not keep the Watch
So He prayed there Alone
Then the inquisition
In the middle of the night
Enduring false accusations, mockery, and torture
Alone
No longer able to bear His Cross
He accepted to drink every drop
Of the bitter cup
Alone
