There seems to be many different ideas on how one is saved. The main theme seems to point in the direction that an individual can do something to facilitate in accomplishing this, as in doing works. This all seems fine, in the overall gist of things, but nothing could be further from the truth, As it is written "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 "Not of works, lest any man should boast" EPHESIANS 2:8-9
Saved by Grace
Some say you're saved by works
Just a lie of the enemy to confuse you
The above Scripture proves this isn't true
Question! What sinner good works do?
Grace is a gift from above
Bestowed on us from a Father of love
To do good works, one must be born again
Where Jesus' blood cleanses away all sin
Now that you've been show the way out of darkness
Welcome to the light
Repent and make things right
For the Kingdom of God is at hand
