Here I would love to share my updates...I have been away from faithwriter for some time.
I just moved back to Hong Kong, my hometown from Sydney, Australia since the beginning of this new year, year 2011. Due to my broke up with my boyfriend, I couldn't afford to live in Sydney myself...nearly Christmas time in year 2010 I planned to fly back to HK for Christmas, simply planning to visit them for two months. That Christmas was the saddest of all, as me and my ex boyfriend were planning to travel back to HK together for marriage arrangement, he wanted to see my parents face to face in November, 2010. And yes, it didn't work out for us and I alone were about to fly back to HK. My heart surely was very heavy that moment.
Without any discernment at first, I went back for the first month in HK, really changing the way I feel about HK, I usually did not quite enjoy the pace and people there. I enjoyed my time with my family as they shared my grieve of losing my boyfriend. I cherished the time very much....
Nearly the end of the first month there, I started to feel God prompting me to just stay back in HK, surely I was so startled by that thought, as I love Sydney, I view it as my country. For me if not the holy spirit's touching my heart for staying in HK, that would almost be impossible for me to stay there.
Finally I myself spoke up before my mom and told her that I will stay back for good. I prayed a lot and did sense of God's peace in me. My mom was so amazed to hear this from me, as she knew so well I love Australia more than anywhere else in the world.
God in His amazing grace, prepared me a job at kindergarten, even before I headed back to Sydney for my pack up. The week before, I did the usual visit back to my formal workplace (a primary school), as the principal had been treated me with kindness and mercy, so whenever I am in HK, I will always find the time to visit the principal and students again.
I visited her and I shared my thoughts and my reasons with her, why I felt like staying back to HK for good, she did not say anything in particular, but one day I phoned her and asked her for an advice, I got a job interview to go and wonder how should I quote my salary expectation. She realized that my decision to stay back in HK was a serious one, so she phoned me and asked if I would be interested to work for her kindergarten....that's how I got the job offer...can you believe this?
