Have you ever had doubts over what God can actually do for you and family?
Have you been praying so hard for the deliverance of someone you love, but seems that your praying effort are all wasted and you finally gave up all hope and all wishes no matter what other christians has told you not to give up on hope.
You feel so useless to persevere in your prayer, you feel you'd better share with others to receive practical help, you feel all of a sudden, you and God are many miles away in relationship.
Have you ever had that doubts in you? I do at times. Perhaps it is our human nature to doubt something we cannot see. We love to see the 'physical' - real thing with our own physical eyes, we seldom love to look forward to something that are 'unseen' to our physical eyes, we seldom look forward to those 'unseen' thing. We want if possible everything to be seen by our physical eyes, so that we can have full assurance of everything is okay...
God says 'He is greater than any others', He said He is greater than any others - referring to His sovereignty and He alone is powerful and no other sources or forces can go against Him.
Is it someone you love, that they have followed other things that you know full well are false gods to them, and you wonder how long God would act on your behalf, for you have been interceding for them at great length without obvious results to your physical eyes.
Have you been waiting on God to turn things around for your loved ones? Let says you have been waiting for 10 years....and it seems to you everything has not changed a tiny single bit. You started to wonder why....May I give you checklists and perhaps it can help you to identify something ...there are something we have to do on our behalf while we are waiting, expecting God to act on our behalf. I usually start with myself and ask God to reveal the followings to me.
1) Ask God to reveal if there's anything that are the hindrances for my prayers to get answered.
The hindrances could be: any known sin has not been confessed and acknowledged before God, any unknown sin that we need to ask God reveal to us.
2) Any unforgiveness toward others - believers and unbelievers alike. We need to first forgive others, so that our God will also forgive us, if not He won't be listening to our prayers.
3) Lack of real trust in God's power - when we are overly concern over someone, it implies that we do not trust God enough, we might have prayed over and over for the same deliverance, the result hasn't yet come because of our lack of faith (the more we pray for the same thing over and over again, the more it shows we do not trust God and have not yet casted all our cares to God)
Be honest with yourself and God when you pray and ask God to strengthen you to believe in Him again.
Remove hindrances so that your prayers can be effective for yourself and others.
